Have you ever seen Gossip Girl? I may or may not have seen every episode more than once. And when I say more than once, I mean at least ten times. Not my proudest achievement in life (yes it is). ANYWAYS, I went to the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in New York City a few weeks ago and I *literally* felt like I was Chuck Bass... or Nate Archibald..... OK lets be honest I was Blaire Waldorf... once again, not my proudest....(again, yes it was).
I got invited super last minute, (literally 8:30pm the night before), by my super cute friend Justin Livingston, if you don't follow him, change that, like now. I had NOTHING to wear and all the stores closed at 9pm. I grabbed my wallet and skrrrrt skrrrrt my way in to Topman to see what I could scrounge up. I was so stoked when I found this suit! It felt PERFECT for the Polo Classic. Everyone who is anyone in NYC would be there and I was NOT about the be dressed like a basic b****. In all seriousness I knew what my friends Tessa and Cole were gonna wear and I was not about to have them be embarrassed to be seen with me (once you see the photos of what they wore, you will understand). I wanted to serve chic. I wanted to serve luxury. I wanted to serve looks. I wanted to serve timeless. I wanted to serve it allllllll. And did I? HELL YEAH.
Veuve Clicquot is such an iconic brand I was so honored to be able to have attended! Did I watch the actual Polo match? Lets just say they were serving free champagne all day. I'll leave the rest to your imagination. On the real tho, was such a fun day watching the Polo and chatting with Manhattan's Elite (another gossip girl reference, I can't stop myself). Definitely recommend going if you ever get the chance!
